Planned around an “old family farm” theme, Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery features a c.1820 hand-hewn log cabin, disassembled and moved from Tennessee, which serves as guest accommodations. Next door is the winery, styled after an old-fashioned barn like the one that was already on the property. The “loft” of the barn houses the tasting room, with a spacious deck extending over the crush pad. From the deck, enjoy a view of the vineyards and the surrounding farm scene, including a number of donkeys, sheep, and “Tinkerbell,” a big white pasture guardian dog— all adding up to a fun family experience.
Cavender Creek Vineyards is now proudly presenting three labels of our white Petit Manseng wine, a Merlot, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and four labels of our American Norton red wine. We also serve four sweet muscadine wines. Wine tastings are $5 for four wines of your choice. We have wines to suite every palate! Open every day in October.
